Opinion - Mr President, permit me to begin by commending the Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA) for consistently meeting and, in several instances, exceeding national revenue targets. In a developing economy such as ours--where fiscal space is constrained and developmental demands are significant--revenue mobilisation is both a technical and patriotic duty. The professionalism and operational discipline of the GRA deserve recognition.
